Cake and Crumpets.

Hiya Loves! Its been a while, and for that I sincerely apologize. I will have you know, that I LOVE ENGLAND. I am so blessed to be here and to enjoy it with such a wonderful family. So how about an update eh? The weather is colder here and the children just keep growing up everyday. It's making me sad. But little John and James started school and they are the most handsome little uniformed fellows Ive ever seen. Its awesome because I get to run after we get the boys off to school and it surely helps me feel alive. I love seeing places such as these...

These places have certainly wedged their way into my heart. The first week of moving into our house was definitely exciting. (Holler at Jacqueline for being super woman). So we got the older boys ready in the morning and then I would take Genevieve and Luke out and about so keep them out of the way of the movers. So our adventures consisted of feeding ducks and picking flowers most of the time.

Just look at those game faces. Hooray for 40 pent bread!

After getting settled in the house we started to take adventures. I am super grateful for my institute pal Jemima, because she let me tag along with her adventures. She is leaving on her mission in November so she has a bucket list of all these places she'd like to see before she goes. I've had the lovely chance of joining in and they have been quite marvelous.
This was a place called Fountain's Abbey. We can blame good ol' King Henry for the destruction of this guy.

The crew. Looking posh as ever.

And of course the Calders and I must go on our own abbey hunts!

All they really wanted to do was explore. Bless their hearts, holding still was killing them. But wow I love these wellie wearing toddlers.
The two most adventuristic chaps you'll ever meet. I love that these boys will play all day long, but at the end of it they love reading bedtime stories. That is something I've also come to love- reading books to them.

Miss Genevieve's got her pink wellies on, she's feeling alright! She's in a phase where she enjoying playing with playdo for hours and she's getting really good at holding still while I do her hair! (Thanks to television and sometimes bribery.)

The handsome Mr. Lukey. He's starting to do this thing where he's trying to form words, and tell you really intense stories. But sometimes he just sounds like he's gurgling some water. But it's okay, because he is very passionate about his stories and they're very fun to listen to.

Jemima and I made a trip to Durham Cathedral and it was incredible. They cathedral is used by the University to go big graduations and what not, so we just happened to be there while a million student in black robes were walking up there. Can you guess what movie that felt like? The correct answer, is Harry Potter.
Speaking of Harry Potter, did you know they filmed some of it right here in this Cathedral?
Its true.
Look at me. Just being American.

Well, theres an update for you! Stayed tuned because I've got a VERY exciting trip on it way:) Remember, I love you and so does the Savior!  Remind yourself everyday that you are so courageous.  Until next time loves,
 -Hanny the Nanny.
