Standing on the Corner of Awesome and Bombdiggity.
Hello loves! Can you believe I've been gone a whopping month already? I sure can't! So much has happened, yet I feel like I just stepped off the plane! Speaking of planes! After our fun adventures through all those different countries, we packed of and moved to England! We were welcomed into the Queens land by a lovely rainstorm and temporary housing. So far I have porridge everyday for breakfast and I am starting to think in a british accent because I am hearing it so much haha.
Well since I have time to catch you up, lets begin! England is wonderful. For some reason I feel a little more at home here than I do in Germany. Maybe its because everyone speaks English haha. But things are going smoothly and rather quickly! Jacqueline and John and I have been busy getting the boys ready for their new school to start and I have recently registered to start school of my own! (Online of course) but hey! I feel like I am getting a swift kick in the face by maturity and so far its not too painful!
I have had the wonderful opportunity to actually get out and run every morning while we have been here and I LOVE it. England is so charming! We live close to a river so I run by that usually every morning. My favorite time of my run is when the morning sun hits the water and permeates that sparkle all over everything around it. Sometimes I catch myself feeling a little sparkly too. Its great for days I feel a little homesick. After a while of sitting in the hotel, Jacqueline and I geared the kids up and went to an indoor play place located in a big shopping center area just a couple of blocks up from our hotel. Its been a lot of fun to be able to figure things out and adventure with these lovelies. Jacqueline has been wonderful enough to let me even adventure on my own! So of course, I found a bookstore and it was the cutest thing ever. I felt like I was in Harry Potter.
What I love about this family is that they go where the wind takes them. So, this morning we decided to drive to Scotland! The land of my dreams! I wrote a history report on Scotland in fourth grade and it's been on the top of my bucket list to go there ever since. So it was a lovely event. We stopped at the central tourist place of Edinburgh and I have never felt so in love with a place. There are these little alley ways labeled with things like "Bartholemuels Close" and, "Kings Close" and though I don't know what they meant, they made me feel like I was right in Diagon Alley. Well. Thats enough of that. Here are your pictures ;)
Sometimes we get a little too cooped up so we walk... and walk and walk. Its the perfect weather and we love it!
James is such a sweetheart. Rain kissed flowers on our rain kissed walk!
Miss Genevieve and her perfect ringlet that ALWAYS manages to escape her braids no matter how tight I braid it.
I took this during the drive home, and if you could just see how cute and chubby Lukes fingers are you wouldn't think this picture is so random.
The prettiest building on the little street of Edinburgh.

When we stopped for a picture on the England/ Scotland boarder. James is my triumphant adventure partner.
Luke and I embracing the welcome winds as we step foot into Scotland.
One thing we have learned to love is bath time. Im convinced there is nothing cuter than a chubby baby in footy pajamas.
G's awesome hair sculptures we create out of nothing but shampoo and fairy dust.
The boys in Edinburgh. This will probably be the only thing they remember from it;)
Ye Old Waterstone's was the most beautiful bookstore I've ever seen. I felt like the books were going to take flight and I was going to break into song and dance whilst flipping through the pages. But Genevieve advised me to do otherwise.
We located Tynemouth and discovered the jellyfish washed up on the shore of the beach. I would describe them as peach jelly in a ziplock bag. Remarkable eh?
Well folks. Sorry this week has been a short one and sort of really sporadic, but Ill share a quote with you I found from the lovely boards of Pinterest to help this seem like a tender life lesson.
"Children are not a distraction from more important work. They are THE MOST important work." -C.S Lewis.
So remember I love you and so does the Savior. Im reminded everyday that the the love we show others is the way we show our love for our Heavenly Father. These tiny humans are gifts. Its our privilege to care for them and bring them up in a corrupt world. But just as we should be their comfort, they are also a huge comfort to us. There is no greater example of Christlike love than that of a child and I am so blessed because I get to witness that everyday. So go hug a baby and remember how loved you really are.
